Is it possible to use a free web hosting service with a domain that you can buy?
I basically want the free hosting, and I’m aware they have set backs in service. But what If I just wanted the “.com”.

As with most everything in life… “you get what you pay for.”
But… with that in mind and I don’t know what you want to do, you could use a coupon code out there for godaddy.com right now that will get you a year’s worth of service for less than $ 4.00. Just do a yahoo search for “godaddy coupon.”

Yes, you could buy a domain and get a free web hosting. But I wouldn’t recommend free web hosting if you are going to set up an E commerce site. NameCheap and GoDaddy are two popular options to get domains. And there’s a coupon code DREAMTIME to save $ 0.88 if you register a domain with NameCheap. Hope that helps.
